Practice Policies

Below you will find our practice policies. These are updated from time-to-time in accordance with changes to laws and guidelines.

Zero Tolerance Policy

The practice will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse against any member of staff or doctor. We have the right to immediately remove a patient from our list should abuse occur. We are working as best we can in challenging times and we hope you are able to remain mindful of this if frustrations arise.

Missed Appointments Policy

If you are unable to attend an appointment, please contact the surgery by telephone or in person to cancel. If two appointments are missed you may receive a warning letter. If further appointments are missed, we may request that your name be removed from our practice list.

Data Protection / GDPR Policy

The practice is committed to preserving, as far as is practical, the security of data used by our information systems. We will ensure your information is:

  1. Fairly and lawfully processed
  2. Processed for limited purposes
  3. Adequate, relevant and not excessive
  4. Accurate
  5. Not kept longer than necessary
  6. Processed in accordance with the data subject’s rights
  7. Secure
  8. Not transferred to countries without adequate protection
