Travel health services

If you are planning to travel abroad, you may need vaccinations or other health precautions to help protect you during your trip. The vaccinations recommended will depend on factors including the countries you are visiting, the length and type of your trip, your planned activities and your previous vaccination history.

Please complete the travel health questionnaire below as fully as possible. A member of our clinical team will review the information you provide and advise you which vaccinations may be recommended.

Travel vaccinations available free through the HSC include hepatitis A, typhoid, tetanus, diphtheria and polio, when they are recommended for your travel. Other travel vaccinations, including hepatitis B, rabies, Japanese encephalitis, tick-borne encephalitis, meningococcal vaccination and yellow fever, are not routinely funded by the HSC for travel purposes.

If you require a vaccination that is not available through the HSC, you will normally need to arrange and pay for this privately through a travel clinic or pharmacy.
